Mr. Apple focuses his practice on communications, privacy, and intellectual property law. His experience includes advising clients, such as broadcasters, Internet companies, and satellite operators, on matters before the FCC, FTC, federal courts, and on general regulatory compliance.
His Internet practice includes advising clients with respect to electronic privacy and data security, drafting privacy policies and terms of use, and negotiating licensing agreements.
Mr. Apple also counsels clients on intellectual property matters, including copyright issues related to digital media, royalties and the use of user generated content, and trademark issues related to “cybersquatting” and domain name disputes.
During law school, Mr. Apple served as a law clerk for National Public Radio and Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive.
