Mr. Bagwell’s practice focuses on providing counsel to a wide range of commercial and non-commercial broadcast entities on a variety of licensing, regulatory compliance, and rulemaking issues. Mr. Bagwell also has significant corporate transactional experience – having assisted numerous entities acquire and divest broadcast stations.
Mr. Bagwell was a presenter for the Broadcast Cable Financial Management Association’s Distance Learning Seminar, “EEO Audits: Are You Prepared?” in February 2006. He was a co-author of “FCC Holds That The Howard Stern Show Includes ‘Bona Fide News Interview’ Segments” published in the MLRC Media Law Letter, October 2003.
While attending the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, he served as a Senior Articles Editor for the William and Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review. He was the author of “The Brownfields Revitalization Amendment Act: DC’s So-Slow Site Cleanup – Don’t It Make Your Brownfields Blue?” published in the William and Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review, Spring 2002.
