Mr. Poutasse specializes in the representation of television and radio station owners with respect to all aspects of FCC regulation, and has represented numerous clients in the acquisition and sale of broadcast stations. He has extensive experience in FCC auctions, preparing and filing all forms of FCC applications, responding to FCC inquiries and notices, children's television programming matters, and in preparing pleadings in matters before the FCC. He has prepared comments and other filings in a variety of FCC proceedings, including FM and DTV allotment rulemaking proceedings and on technical matters such as digital television distributed transmission systems and AM directional antenna performance verification. He also has drafted and negotiated employment agreements, talent contracts, programming agreements, sports rights agreements, real property leases and other contracts for broadcasters, and has counseled firm clients on employment discrimination and equal employment opportunity related matters.
Mr. Poutasse is currently on the Board of Directors of The International Ecotourism Society.
While in law school, Mr. Poutasse served on the The George Washington University Journal of International Law and Economics.
