Steve Lerman and Meredith Senter Named Washington D.C. Super Lawyers

We are pleased to announce that SuperLawyers-Washington D.C. has named LSL members Steven A. Lerman and Meredith S. Senter to its list of Washington D.C.’s most outstanding attorneys for 2008.  This is the second year in a row that Steve has been named to this list.

SuperLawyers magazine publishes an annual list of each state’s top attorneys based on practice area.  The rigorous selection process considers peer evaluations, professional achievement and other factors that guarantee a diverse selection of the state’s top lawyers.  Both Steve and Meredith were recognized for their work with communications industry clients.   

In the course of over thirty-five years of practice, Steve has served as counsel for several of the largest radio companies in the United States, two of the national broadcast television networks and the two largest radio syndication companies.  He has extensive expertise in the representation of broadcast stations in all areas of Federal Communications Commission regulation and has handled many cases involving government intrusion into content and other First Amendment-related issues.

Meredith has counseled clients, from individuals to large corporations, on regulatory, transactional and commercial matters in the broadcast, cable and telecommunications industries for almost thirty years.  He has served as lead counsel on transactions ranging from under $1 million to more than $1.4 billion.  He has co-chaired several committees of the Federal Communications Bar Association, and regularly participates in seminars and conferences of that organization as well as the National Association of Broadcasters and the Broadcast Cable Financial Management Association. Additionally, he has written numerous articles on regulatory and transactional matters for various legal and trade publications.
